It's a Bigger World!

It's a Big World! has a Toddler Program (2-3 yrs of age) and Preschool/Afterschool Program (3-11)! Due to the intimate environment, teachers are able to communicate easily to follow each child's progress from the time they are 2 until they are ready to go to Kindergarten! We also have the flexibility to advance students early if we feel they are ready for preschool activities before they are 3 years old so their minds are always challenged and engaged.

The Curriculum

Aligns with California Desired Results, National Association for the Education of Young Children, and Early Childhood Environment Rating Scale
Encourages “active” learning, critical thinking skills, social skills, and most importantly play (similar to HighScope)
Promotes learning of independent life skills (similar to Montessori method)
Values Whole/Holistic learning
Caters to the child's individual interest. We teach based on the interests of every child!

You can do wonders with a creative mind....For Example:

If your child Loves music, we will teach through music
If your child loves cars, we teach using cars

Afterschool Activities! (for Preschool and Elementary Students)

Each day of the week we will have a different class! Here is a tentative schedule of the afternoon classes we offer and when:

Mon.- The Art of Yoga and Relaxation

Tues.- Science Cooking Fun!

Wed.-Sports (Currently Teaching Softball)

Thurs.- Dance (Ballet, Hip-hop, Aerobics, Cultural)

Fri.- Drama/Movie Day!

We wanted to make your life easier as well as provide you with a cost-effective way of involving your children in more fun, enriching activities. At It's a Big World! we have teachers who are already experienced in subjects from which we know your children will love and benefit! So instead of paying money and spending your evenings or weekends away from your children who are enrolled in yet Another class :o), we are bringing these classes to you for FREE!*

These classes are already paid for in your current tuition costs so you do not have to pay anything additional :o). The only time we may ask you for additional fees is if we want to purchase equipment or attire needed specifically for your child for a performance or to enhance a specific skill. Just one of these classes would normally cost about $10/per hour/day else where but It's a Big World! is offering it to our full-time preschool students for FREE!* If your child attends school part-time you may still enroll your child for any of these classes for $5 per class/week
